The second card in the tarot deck is actually card number 1 (The Fool card is considered 0) - The Magician. This is a card of action and your own internal strength & power so if this card shows then you know it’s time to get off your backside! Think of the symbolism of the magician or the conjuror - bringing things to life, creating something out of nothing, being master of his universe. The symbolism is all about creativity and confidence in one’s abilities.
However, the magician also knows how to bide his time and wait for the right moment. Behind the scenes, he works away to perfect his craft so that he is ready to act, but this is not necessarily a card of immediate results. So learn from the discipline of the Magician card also.
So when the Magician card shows for you, depending on its position of course, it’s time to consider whether you are giving the situation your all and to look to ways to build in strength and wisdom.
